Oecanthus pellucens - European Tree-cricket
(Scopoli, 1763)

Description: Slender and fragile cricket species. The body is flattened, light brown, with wings covering the abdomen (♂ 10-13 mm, ♀ 14-20 mm). Head and thorax are slightly elongated. Ovipositor is 7 mm long.
Similar species: none
Adults: from May until October
Song:
High-pitched chirps repeated for minutes. It sings in the evening and at night.
