Description: Green grasshopper with small brown spots (13-20 mm). The middle of the back is brown. The male's pronotum is light-brown and elevated at the end. The cerci are red, flattened, bending inwards at about right angles and ending in a black point. The ovipositor is 6-7 mm long. Similar species:the other Poecilimon species Adults: from June to August Song: The faint song consists of solitary syllables, repeated with intervals of 2 to 10 sec.
