Poecilimon intermedius - Intermediate Bright Bush-cricket
(Fieber, 1853)

Description: Ground colour is light green with small brown spots (♀ 14-20 mm), ovipositor is 7-9 mm long. A thin white stripe runs from the eyes along the sides of the pronotum and abdomen. The lower margin of the side flaps of the pronotum is also white, and a very thin white line runs down the middle of the back. The wings are not visible. In Europe, only females are known, which reproduce by parthenogenesis.
Similar species: the other Poecilimon species

Unknown.
Habitat: 
Open forests, grasslands. It prefers tall vegetation.
Distribution:
Very scarce. Formerly known from Mecsek and Aggteleki-karszt. New populations have been found along the Sajó-valley and in the southern part of Mezőföld (Németkér).
